Jorge Alberto Rada

Jorge Rada is the GIS’ CEO as of January 1, 2023. He joined GIS in 2016 as Draxton's Global CEO and in April 2019 he was appointed GIS’ Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Rada received a Mechanical and Administrative Engineering degree from ITESM in 1986 and an MBA from ITESM in 1991. Between 1991 and 2000, he worked in several management roles at Nemak México in Strategic Planning, Commercial, New Program Launches, Purchasing, and as the Director of Human Resources. Beginning in 2000, Mr. Rada performed several managerial roles at Nemak in different regions of the world: CEO from 2000 to 2005 in the Czech Republic; Director of Administration and Finance in Europe, based in Germany from 2005 to 2007; CEO of South America based in Brazil from 2007 to 2010; and Director of the Asia & Business Development unit from 2010 to 2016.

Alberto Hernández Téllez

Alberto Hernández is the CEO of Draxton Europe & Asia and Ingeniería Global since January 2019. Mr. Hernández has a degree in Accounting and an MBA from ITESM; also has taken courses offered to senior level executives at IPADE and the AMP from Harvard Business School. With a career of 25 years in Vitro where he performed different executive positions both in Europe and North America, including CFO of Vitro España, CFO of Vitro Envases, Director of the Supply Division of Vitro and General Industrial Director of Álcali, VicePresident Float Glass business.

Luis Arenas Garza

Luis Arenas Garza is the CEO of Draxton Norteamérica, previously he worked as CEO of Evercast (GISSA's Joint Venture with ZF) as of January 1, 2018, he is also Global Director of Planning and Finance of Draxton as of January 1, 2020. He joined GIS in 2009 as Strategic Planning Manager of Cifunsa participating in strategic M&A projects (Divestitures, Acquisitions and Joint Ventures) as well as the post-acquisition integration of several companies to constitute what is now Draxton Global. He has a degree in Accounting from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) with an MBA from the same institution. He began his career in 1997 working for Masterpak of Grupo Cydsa in the financial planning area for 3 years. Subsequently, from 2000 to 2009 he worked for Metalsa, Grupo Proeza, where he held several leadership roles in the Finance, Commercial and Strategic Planning areas.

Marcelo Rodríguez Segovia

Marcelo Rodriguez is the Chief Executive Officer of CINSA, joining this position on October 31, 2019 for the second time, since he held the same position from August 2003 to April 2011, when he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Vitromex, where he worked until October 2014. Additionally, he worked for 10 years in the wheat flour industry as COO and in Grupo Pulsar for 8 years. Between 2014 and 2019 he served as CEO of EMYCO, Vasconia and the ceramic division of Grupo Industrial Trébol. He holds a B.A. in Economics from ITESM and an MBA from IPADE.

Saúl Castañeda de Hoyos

Saúl Castañeda began his career at Grupo Industrial Saltillo in May 2000, taking on various corporate responsibilities in the Financial division, including Financial Consolidation, Planning, Investor Relations, and Institutional Communications. In 2019, he stepped into the role of Director of Administration and Finance at Vitromex (Coatings business that belonged to GIS until February 2023). In 2021, he became the Chief Financial Officer of GIS.

With a degree in Accounting and Finance from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), he also has an MBA from ITESM, and has taken courses offered to senior level executives at IPADE.

Armando Chapa Rodríguez

Armando Chapa, GIS' Director of Planning and Administration, has worked in several areas since he joined the company in 1992, initially in the commercial and marketing areas at Vitromex in Mexico and the United States (Coatings business that belonged to GIS until February 2023).

His training in strategic planning and new business began in 2002, and from 2009 to 2018, he was the Division Head of that area. During these periods, he led or participated in the M&A processes that reconfigured GIS’ portfolio, the parts of the world where the company does business, and joint ventures, as well as in other of the company's strategic projects, including a financial restructuring.

He began his career in 1985 as a trainee at Austromex, the leading manufacturer of special abrasives for the metallurgy and automotive industry, where he worked for five years as a technical advisor, professional seller and developer of independent distributors. He has a degree in Chemical Engineering (UNAM) and an MBA (ITESM), as well as several certifications in postgraduate courses, including marketing and e-commerce strategy seminars offered by Northwestern University.

Luis Fernando Saldamando Arvizu

Since March 2015, Luis Fernando Saldamando Arvizu has been the Director of Global Talent and Culture for Grupo GIS. He has a degree in Industrial Relations, specializing in Organizational Development and Executive Coaching.

He has held leadership positions since 2000 at Pepsico, Gamesa, and Quaker, including Director of Human Capital of Operations and the Director of Talent Retention; in 2010, he worked as the Director of Human Capital at SuKarne.

He is an executive with vast experience in organizational development strategies, performance administration processes, culture, global compensation, and labor relations.

Alan Roberto Partida Córdoba

Director of Global Internal Audit. He has more than 16 years of experience in Internal Audit and he joined to Grupo Industrial Saltillo at the beginning of 2020. He is Secretary of the Audit Committee of Grupo Industrial Saltillo and reports directly to the Chairman of the Audit Committee. Prior to joining GIS, he worked more than 17 years for CEMEX, a global construction solutions company, 14 of which were in the global Internal Audit area, having international experience auditing more than 25 countries in North America, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Previously, he collaborated in the areas of Accounting Technology Cemex global and Comptrollership of Cemex México. At the beginning of his career, he worked for the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) at the Sonora Norte Campus. He holds a degree in Accounting from the Universidad del Estado de Sonora and a Master's Degree in Administration from ITESM; also Mr. Alan has a Certification from the Association of Fraud Examiners - (ACFE, for its acronym in Spanish).
